At Avesta, we make every effort to reduce our environmental impact by conducting our business efficiently and as per the prevailing laws, regulations, and industry standards. We aim to use resources like water and energy efficiently; while reducing waste and minimizing emissions wherever possible. We expect our supply partners to apply comparable environmental standards and measures.
This approach has allowed us to significantly improve our sustainability performance year over year in waste management, occupational health and safety, and water conservation.

Prioritizing the Health & Safety of our people!
Avesta takes steps to prevent occupational accidents and improve the health of employees by:

Increasing knowledge and awareness of CSR among employees

We provide a safe work environment and promote healthy lifestyles and behaviour. We train, empower and push our employees to take individual health and safety responsibility using the available leadership training. We engage and consult with our employees when developing and improving our processes and encourage them to integrate health and safety considerations into their everyday activities.
In accordance with our fundamental principle of "protect people," Avesta strives to secure the participation of all employees in ensuring health and safety based on the Global EHS Policy. The company has been promoting the establishment of Safety and Health Committees at the head office and plants and research centres
